Description: This project is a part of the Knowledge Based Adaptive Micro Milling project (KBAMM). The input data is a milling path which is a broken line that connects consecutive initial points for position of the tool, another broken line is a initially given orientation of the tool in current position. The goal is to generate a smooth $G^2$-continuous position and orientation path for a milling tool with guaranteed error bound for 5-axis machining. The optimization is targeted at minimizing the processing time of the machining process.
